We made a film about inventing
the Seagrass Mower.

Watch as we meet the heroes of seagrass conservation, and innovate towards a better tool to help them on their mission.

The product.

The Seagrass Mower is towed by a boat and automatically harvests seagrass seedpods, pumping them up to the boat for filtration. The device is up to 100 x faster than the traditional, manual seed-collection process.

Safety

The Seagrass Mower is designed to operate in sensitive, unpredictable underwater environments.

We made sure to incorporate numerous safety features like emergency access zips, blade guards, and high-visibility colouring.

Responsibility

We tested the Seagrass Mower off the coast of North Wales, under license and with supervision from seasoned professionals and members of the Project Seagrass team.
